Underfloor heating throughout, and cooling built in.
This Winsford home swapped its combi boiler for a 7kW Vaillant aroTHERM plus, running underfloor heating in every room and no radiators. It warms the house in winter, and the same floors helped cool it during a heatwave.

Replace a combi boiler with a heat pump for whole-house underfloor heating.
The house was heated by a combi boiler and has underfloor heating throughout, with no radiators. It needed a heat pump to run those floors, and a new hot water cylinder because a combi makes hot water on demand rather than storing it.
A 7kW Vaillant aroTHERM plus and a 210 litre uniSTOR pure.
My HeatPro removed the combi boiler and installed a 7kW Vaillant aroTHERM plus and a new Vaillant uniSTOR pure 210 litre unvented cylinder in August 2026, as a Heat Geek installation. Every underfloor loop has its own flow meter and is labelled by room at the manifold. The system comes with a Heat Geek guaranteed SCOP of 4.5.
Cooling that worked really well through the floors.
Cooling is built into the aroTHERM plus, so no extra parts were needed. Because the whole house has underfloor heating, the cooling worked really effectively. The system was first started during a heatwave and took about five degrees off the house temperature. That's the difference between a hot, sweaty house and a nice moderate one.
Running really well.
The system is running really well and is currently beating its Heat Geek guaranteed SCOP of 4.5. It's a good example of how the heating emitters in a home shape what a heat pump can do, in summer as well as winter.

Start with the property and how it's heated now.
Send over the current heating setup, hot water arrangement, postcode and a few useful photos. My HeatPro can then advise whether a design consultation is the right next step.
Cooling needs to be designed properly too.
A cooling-compatible heat pump is only one part of the answer. The emitters, controls and rooms still need checking before cooling is included in a final design.
